- Course gamification is the process of turning any course into a game or something like a game. Using the application of elements of game playing such as point scoring or competition with others to encourage engagement with learning.
Other real-life examples of gaming are air-miles, running and cycling apps, supermarket loyalty clubs and eBucks.
You do not need to create new content for gamification. In fact, it is not designed to do that. What you should be doing is using existing content and gamifying that content. You can even start with one lesson at a time.
The benefit of the gamification of learning is that it makes learning fun and interactive with real learning benefits.NextGEN LMS has all the embedded functionality, such as Level Up, Stash, Badges, Progress Bars, Leader Boards, Conditional Routing, Virtual Currencies, Custom Certificates etc.to enable exciting gamification. Playbooks and game training for teachers are included.
